Aline Reyna joins the Blue Zones Project (BZP) Monterey County team as Organization Lead: Schools. Her role is to building partnerships and ensure meaningful collaborations to implement evidence-based strategies, BZP policies and programs in local schools to improve well-being for employees, students and their families. Aline has a history of service and dedication to her community. She brings to the team 20 years of working in the community with strong business administration experience, government policy, fundraising, event planning and project development. As a leader, she is mission driven and brings an ability to inspire and motivate to get things done.
Prior to joining the Blue Zone Project, Aline worked with State Assembly member Anna M. Caballero as District Director, assisting the Assembly member advocate and represent constituents in the 30th Assembly District in Sacramento.
Aline is a strong supporter of organizations and programs that provide advocacy, education and accessibility to community members to be agents of change, demonstrating what is possible when working together. She grew up in Salinas, attended local public schools and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Accounting from San Jose State University. Aline has one adult son and lives in Salinas with her husband and four furbabies.
