The Alisal Union School District (AUSD) serves just under 9,000 students in twelve neighborhood K-6th grade schools (including preschool programs). Many of our over 400 certificated and 300 classified staff members are from the community and proudly serve it. The District is situated in East Salinas, California. Salinas has a large agricultural base with a significant number of farmworker and immigrant families who do their best for their children and families, working long days to also feed our city, state, and nation.
