Chelsea Storm-Larsen was born and raised in Riverside, California in a loving family of five. She found herself in Monterey County in 2008 when she began her undergraduate degree at California State University, Monterey Bay, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Collaborative Health and Human Services with an emphasis in Community Health. Chelsea has worked in fund development positions for a number of local nonprofits in Monterey County.
She recently joined the local Blue Zones Project Monterey County team as the Organization Lead for worksites, in which she will be working with local employers on implementing best practices in order to help create a healthier, more productive workforce in Salinas.
She is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Administration with an emphasis on Health Care Policy and Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills and is expected to graduate in May 2020.
Chelsea and her husband RJ have been residents of Salinas for over three years. They are both passionate about giving back to the community that has given so much to them. Chelsea enjoys taking advantage of every opportunity Monterey County has to offer such as hiking in Big Sur, enjoying local wineries, or riding her bike to downtown Salinas to enjoy the local cuisine and scene. Chelsea is thrilled to be part of this amazing project and to pursue her passion of helping community thrive through making healthy choices easier.
